dependable UTEP linebacker with a tackling résumé and veteran edge
Josh Fely’s UTEP profile points to a linebacker who brings production, experience, and reliability rather than flash: in the 2012 season he totaled 112 tackles, and he was recognized on the 2012 C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll, signaling both on-field consistency and off-field discipline[2][12]. He also entered UTEP as a two-time first-team all-conference junior college defender after piling up 156 tackles at San Diego Mesa, which tells you the Miners got a proven worker, not a project[2][5].
