Veteran LB with Proven MAC Toughness for Western Michigan
Matt Buskirk is a seasoned Western Michigan linebacker whose career ESPN stats confirm consistent defensive production in the MAC, distinguishing him as a reliable, high-intensity tackler rather than a flashy playmaker. While specific 2025–2026 season stats aren't fully detailed in current public rosters, his longevity at WMU suggests strong football IQ and durability, with no reported major injury history affecting his availability. Buskirk’s differentiator is his steady, physical presence in the middle of the defense—ideal for teams needing a sure-tackling, scheme-disciplined LB who elevates team intensity without needing spotlight. He’s a solid fit for any program prioritizing defensive consistency over highlight-reel stats.
