Carson Bender is a young Montana interior defender with room to grow
Carson Bender is a sophomore defensive tackle for Montana in the 2026 season, and his current profile suggests a developmental interior lineman rather than a headline-grabbing stat monster. He brings value through size, depth potential, and hometown Montana toughness out of Deer Lodge, but publicly available roster info does not yet show detailed production, rankings, or injury context. If a team wants a project DT with local roots and upside on the interior, Bender is at least an interesting name to watch.
