North Texas guard Tristan Thompson: proven winner, high-IQ scorer, and Hall of Fame-caliber Mean Green guard
Tristan Thompson is a decorated North Texas guard whose college résumé stands out for winning, volume scoring, and steady two-way reliability: he led the Sun Belt with 593 points in his senior season and finished his UNT career ranked fifth in program history, while also helping the Mean Green reach at least 20 wins in each of his four seasons. Reliable sources describe him as a versatile offensive player and strong rebounder, and his Hall of Fame recognition reinforces that he brought production plus consistency—not just empty stats—to the floor.
