Appalachian State’s Tough, High-Motor RB Prospect with Local-Brand Grit
I couldn’t verify current Appalachian State football stats or a roster listing for Neil Cornatzer from reliable public sources, so treat this as a profile-level read rather than a production report: Cornatzer is most visibly known in the Winston-Salem/Davie County football community as a durable, physical athlete with a reputation for competitiveness and leadership, traits that often translate well to RB rooms that value downhill running, pass protection, and special-teams willingness. If he’s on your board, the appeal is likely toughness, athletic pedigree, and buy-in—not headline numbers. Best fit? A program that prizes effort, versatility, and culture as much as raw stat lines.
