Louisiana Tech’s strikeout-heavy Friday ace turned 2026 MLB Draft pick
In the 2026 season, Dahl became Louisiana Tech’s go-to righty, posting 102 strikeouts in 81.1 innings and becoming the fastest Bulldog ever to reach 100 strikeouts in under 90 innings. He was named Conference USA Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-CUSA after a season defined by swing-and-miss stuff, durability, and big-game poise; he also earned two CUSA Pitcher of the Week honors. He profiles as a good fit for teams wanting a power starter with starter-quality command, competitive edge, and room to keep climbing.
