Quay Mays brings veteran interior-line grit to Arkansas State
Quay Mays is a sturdy, experienced defensive lineman whose best calling card is old-school interior toughness; in the 2021 season at Arkansas State, he appeared in 3 games and logged 4 total tackles, while his junior-college résumé showed 15 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks in 2018. He’s the kind of low-drama, high-motor DL who can eat snaps, anchor against the run, and bring a physical edge—more worker bee than headline-grabber, but exactly the sort of depth piece that can help a team’s front stay nasty.
