South Carolina’s Legacy QB, Now a Coach – Not a Current Player
Corey Jenkins is not a current college or high school athlete; he is a former University of South Carolina quarterback (born 1976) who now serves as an assistant football coach at SCSU, specializing in RBs/TEs/Fullbacks. As a senior, he recorded nearly 2,000 yards from scrimmage and 11 touchdowns, showcasing elite intensity and leadership. His differentiator lies in his deep Gamecocks legacy, mentorship impact, and transition from player to coach—making him an invaluable fit for teams seeking experienced guidance, not active roster talent. Injury history is undocumented, but his intensity and personality remain hallmarks of his career.
