Jeremy Buncum brings active, playmaking linebacker production to The Citadel defense
Buncum is a physical, assignment-sound **linebacker** whose value shows up in the dirty work: tackles, negative plays, and turnover disruption, including a game with 7 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble, plus recognition as a CFPA Honorable Mention Performer of the Week in 2011. He also drew conference notice for helping The Citadel’s defense hold Western Carolina to just 236 total yards, which points to a player who can help control a game with effort and discipline rather than highlight-reel flash.
