Patrick Davidson is Air Force’s high-leverage swingman with real late-inning bite
In the 2025 season, Davidson emerged as one of Air Force’s most valuable arms, logging a team-second-best 18 appearances, a 5-2 record, 34 strikeouts in 37.2 innings, and team-leading totals in wins and saves, while posting the Falcons’ lowest WHIP among regular pitchers. He’s a 6-foot-4 righty who can start or close, and his best trait is versatility: he gave Air Force multiple clean, no-run outings, including a career-high 5.2-inning gem at New Mexico. Add in his strong command profile, durability, and steady-schoolwork reputation, and he looks like the kind of competitive, low-drama pitcher who helps teams win now.
