a deep-cut Elon receiver with a playmaker’s mindset
Cowley is a former Elon wideout who was described in recruiting notes as a “play maker, not a possession receiver,” which hints at a vertical, high-upside skill set rather than a volume-catch profile. Elon’s roster pages and previews list him as a 5'11" receiver, but publicly available team pages show no current game stats, so there’s no recent production to lean on for 2026 evaluation. The fit question comes down to role: if a team wants burst, separation, and occasional explosiveness over pure chain-moving consistency, Cowley’s profile is the kind that can be intriguing.
