Natavious Payne brings veteran speed and versatility to YSU’s secondary
Natavious Payne has been a multi-year Penguin contributor, with reliable game experience and enough speed to flash as a difference-maker on defense; Youngstown State lists him as a defensive back, and past records show he previously made his mark as a big-play playmaker on offense before shifting into a DB role. He’s the kind of roster fit coaches like for toughness, adaptability, and depth value rather than pure hype, though there isn’t enough current 2026 stat detail available here to peg him as a headline-grabber. If your team wants a seasoned, versatile DB with a track record of production and a plug-and-play mindset, Payne makes sense.
