Samford LB Cory Turner: a name to watch, but current 2026 production is not clearly documented
Cory Turner is listed with Samford’s football program, but the available public results do not show a clear 2026 stat line or a deep scouting trail for him, so the read is more “promising roster piece” than “verified breakout star” right now. Without confirmed production, the safest takeaway is that his value will hinge on whether he can translate linebacker traits—tackling range, physicality, and downhill urgency—into measurable impact this season. If your team wants a linebacker who can be evaluated as an upside add rather than a finished product, he’s worth monitoring; if you need proven, published production, the evidence is thin.
