Katie Modrzejewski brings fresh-legs upside to Detroit Mercy’s outfield mix
Modrzejewski is a 2026 freshman outfielder for Detroit Mercy, listed from Plymouth, Mich., and part of a big eight-player newcomer group the Titans expected to help immediately. She looks like a fit for a staff that values versatility and energy: her profile says outfield, left/right-handed profile, and she arrives in a program leaning on new talent to reshape the roster. The catch is that publicly available season stats and scouting detail are still thin, so she’s more of a projection play than a proven production bet right now.
