5'11" Forward with Career-High 12-Point Intensity for Lamar
Bethany Cox, a 5'11" sophomore forward for the Lamar Cardinals, stands out not for volume stats but for her relentless intensity and clutch performance, including a career-high 12 points in a win over Our Lady of the Lake during the 2013-14 season[3]. While her season averages were modest (2.2 points, 0.9 rebounds in 26 games)[3], her differentiator is her Oklahoman grit and ability to elevate when needed, evidenced by her 8-point, 7-rebound effort against Tulsa[1]. With no reported injury history and a personality defined by competitive fire, Cox is a high-fit defensive specialist for teams needing a versatile, hard-working forward who brings maximum effort per minute, even if she isn't a primary scorer[1][3].
