Temple DB Justin Gildea brings veteran size and ball skills
In the 2026 Temple profile, Justin Gildea is listed as a 5-foot-11, 190-pound senior defensive back from Hollidaysburg, Pa., and his calling card has long been toughness plus playmaking—Temple’s 2011 notes credited him with a key sack and his third career interception in one game, and that earlier season he was part of a defense that featured 46 tackles, 3.0 sacks, and 3 interceptions. He looks like a physical, experienced fit for a secondary needing reliability, range, and a little edge; the kind of DB coaches trust when the game gets messy.
