Waymann Peters brings veteran YSU cornerback toughness and ball-hawking instincts
Waymann Peters is a proven Youngstown State cornerback with long-term game experience in the program, including a standout 2003 season line of 43 tackles and 1 interception for the Penguins. He profiles as a physical, assignment-sound defensive back who can handle volume in coverage and support the run, which makes him useful if your team wants a reliable, no-drama defender rather than a splashy highlight hunter. His value is in consistency, toughness, and trustworthiness—exactly the kind of DB coaches love when the game gets messy.
