veteran Coppin State floor general with steady playmaking and disruptive defense
In the 2004-05 season, Denita Plain was a senior guard for Coppin State who averaged 6.4 points, 3.9 assists, 2.3 steals, and 4.0 rebounds per game, giving the Lady Eagles a true multi-category engine. Her calling card is balance: she can organize an offense, pressure the ball, and chip in across the board without needing the ball nonstop. Over her Coppin State career, she posted 5.3 points and 3.1 assists per game with 109 games played, which points to durability and consistency. If you want a poised, two-way guard who adds toughness and pace, she fits nicely.
