Clutch Southern Utah kicker Colton Cook still owns the spotlight
Colton Cook has been a reliable, high-leverage weapon for Southern Utah, with ESPN listing him at 83.3% on field goals in the most recent stat line and 24-of-26 on extra points; his career profile also shows 19-of-22 field goals in one season and a reputation for late-game poise, including multiple game-winning kicks in 2013. What makes him interesting isn’t just the make rate — it’s the calm under pressure, strong short-to-midrange trust factor, and proven “give him the ball and get out of the way” mentality that coaches love in a kicker.
