Khalyl Waters brings veteran wing toughness and efficient scoring punch to Troy
Khalyl Waters is a seasoned 6-5 forward whose value shows up in efficiency, free-throw creation, and steady two-way production; in Troy’s 2021-22 season, he played in 28 games with 10 starts, averaged 7.2 points on 44.4% shooting, and ranked second on the team in free throws made at 1.9 per game. He peaked earlier at 8.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and one steal per game in 2020-21, which speaks to a competitive, physical style that can help a team needing toughness, foul pressure, and reliable rotation minutes.
