Cole Leinart is a rising, three-star SMU QB with pedigree, size, and upside
Cole Leinart, a 2026 quarterback at Redondo Union and SMU commit, brings a pro-style frame, blue-chip family pedigree, and early Power-4 attention from programs like Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and Pitt. In the 2024 recruiting cycle, he was rated a three-star prospect and ranked No. 81 among quarterbacks by 247Sports, with analysts noting he still has room to climb as his game matures. Why care? He looks like a developmental QB with real growth potential—someone who fits an offense that can coach up timing, decision-making, and field vision.
