Zion Keith brings veteran, downhill safety play to South Carolina State
Zion Keith, a 6-1, 190-pound graduate student safety for South Carolina State, looks like a seasoned back-end defender with ACC experience from Wake Forest and a home-state return to the Bulldogs.[2][3][4] In the 2022 South Carolina State stats, he recorded tackles and pass-breakup production that hint at a reliable, physical contributor rather than a pure headline-chaser.[10] The appeal here is polish: he has size, tested athleticism, and enough versatility to play with confidence near the run while still handling coverage responsibilities, which makes him the kind of steady, mature piece coaches love in a winning secondary.[2][13]
