Draysean Hudson brings veteran deep-threat juice to Western Illinois
In the 2021 season at Western Illinois, Draysean Hudson flashed as a perimeter playmaker with 64 catches for 624 yards and 3 touchdowns, after logging 21 receptions for 219 yards and 2 scores at McNeese State in 2018. His calling card is veteran savvy and big-play value: quickness, route feel, and the ability to separate and finish. The larger fit question is health and availability, since his Western Illinois stint was limited and he later moved on to the indoor game, but when he’s rolling, he gives an offense a compact, experienced target with proven production.
