Carl Walker brings veteran special-teams value to Miami’s linebacker room
Carl Walker is a **6-3 linebacker** for Miami who stands out more for his **special-teams impact, reliability, and experience** than for box-score production; the program notes he has been one of the team’s top players on kickoff and punt coverage and is recovering from a knee injury suffered last season. That combination makes him a useful depth fit for a roster that values toughness, effort, and role execution—especially if you want a linebacker who can contribute in the kicking game and provide veteran steadiness rather than headline-grabbing stats.
