John Esposito brings high-motor linebacker upside, but current Western Carolina impact is unclear
Esposito’s profile shows a productive, physical defender in high school and early college development, with 2024 recruiting materials listing him as a 5'10", 200-pound MLB/OLB with a 4.65 forty, 4.34 shuttle, and 300-pound bench. His New Milford HS production included 23 solo tackles, 15 assists, 6 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles in 2014, signaling a disruptive, downhill style. That said, I could not verify current 2025 Western Carolina game-impact stats from the sources provided, so the best read is that he profiles as a tough, instinctive linebacker who could fit a defense needing effort, quickness, and special-teams grit.
