Malcolm Dixon brings Charleston Southern a veteran QB pedigree, but the current roster picture is thin
Malcolm Dixon is best known as a former Charleston Southern quarterback, not a current one, and his profile shows he’s now Liberty’s quarterbacks coach after playing for the Buccaneers from 2010-13. He’s a fit if you want someone who understands winning QB play and system-building from the inside, especially after helping Charleston Southern to a 10-3 finish in 2013. One catch: there isn’t reliable current 2026 on-field production to evaluate for him as a player, so any “current performance” assessment should be viewed through his coaching and developmental lens, not recent game stats.
