RJ Forbes brings efficient, low-usage guard minutes for Hampton
RJ Forbes is a Hampton guard whose current profile reads as steady and efficient rather than high-volume: in the 2019-20 season, he posted 2.0 points per game on 50.0% shooting and 100.0% free-throw accuracy, but in limited minutes (3.7 per game), so the value is more about reliability than raw production.[3][4] At 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, he has the frame to hold up physically at the guard spot, and Hampton listed him on its 2019-20 roster as a freshman from Bowie, Maryland.[5] If a team wants a disciplined, role-ready backcourt piece who can stay within himself and finish efficiently, Forbes fits that mold.
