Ashley Pellom brings **shot-making and timely defense** to Western Carolina
Ashley Pellom was a dependable backcourt scorer for Western Carolina, with game logs showing double-digit outings and standout defensive pressure, including a career-high six steals in the 2006 season. Her value goes beyond points: she showed the ability to swing momentum with steals, free throws, and efficient perimeter shooting, which makes her a useful fit for teams needing a guard who can score in bursts and create havoc defensively. The main question for any roster is not talent, but role fit—she profiles as a quick, disruptive guard who can add toughness and opportunistic offense.
