Jayden Torres brings sneaky value as a freshman lefty for Alabama State
In the 2026 season, Jayden Torres has shown early bullpen usefulness for Alabama State, highlighted by 2.1 shutout innings with no hits allowed against Troy, though he did issue four walks and strike out two. His 5-foot-9, 180-pound frame and left-handed look make him a useful matchup piece, and his biggest calling card so far is resilience: he kept his stuff in the zone enough to escape damage in a high-pressure outing. He looks like a developmental arm with situational value, especially if your staff can sharpen his command.
