Abby Kain brings veteran glue, rebounding bite, and academic polish
Abby Kain’s Northern Colorado profile is that of a high-IQ, high-effort forward who made her mark with toughness on the glass and team-first reliability; in her UNC career she appeared in 110 games and, in the 2019-20 season, posted 2.4 rebounds per game while earning a spot on the Big Sky All-Academic Team. Her calling card is the kind of gritty, low-drama frontcourt play coaches love: rebounding, positioning, and consistency. She also owns UNC’s single-game rebounding record with 21, a loud hint at her motor and paint presence.
