a disruptive, instinctive linebacker with playmaking juice
Jeff Koval’s profile is built around impact plays, not just tackle totals: in the 2006 season he recorded sacks, tackles for loss, and even earned recognition on the Gateway All-Academic Team, which signals both on-field edge and off-field discipline[2][5][10]. At Youngstown State, he showed a knack for timing and disruption—turning up in the backfield and finishing drives with pressure—while also flashing ball skills with an interception in a 2005 game summary[11]. The fit appeal is clear: if a staff wants a smart, aggressive linebacker who can make negative plays and handle responsibility, Koval looks like a blue-collar, high-IQ piece.
