developmental Nicholls OL with local roots and versatility
Seth Laviolette is a Lafayette-area product who brings a frame and background that fit the offensive line mold, and his value is in projection, toughness, and coachability rather than headline-grabbing box scores. Publicly available high-school recruiting traces show him as a receiver/athlete before transitioning to OL, which suggests functional athleticism and adaptability—useful traits for a college line prospect. If you’re looking for a ready-made star, he’s probably more of a development piece; if you want a lineman with upside, positional flexibility, and the kind of local-dog mentality coaches love, he’s worth a closer look.
