George Mason legend Vernessa Neamo: two-way havoc, not just box-score noise
Vernessa Neamo’s George Mason résumé screams impact player: she remains the Patriots’ all-time steals leader with 256, while also ranking in the program’s top 10 in points (1,371), rebounds (658) and blocks (69) from her 2000-04 career[1][2]. The differentiator is clear—she wasn’t a one-note scorer; she consistently led Mason in rebounding and steals for three straight seasons and earned All-CAA defensive and academic honors, a strong sign of competitiveness, IQ and reliability[1][2].
