Russell MacFarlane brings rim protection, efficient finishing, and high-motor frontcourt value to Colorado College
MacFarlane is a 6-foot-9 Colorado College forward whose value shows up in the dirty-work areas: in 2025-26 he opened with 9 points, 6 rebounds, 1 block and 1 steal in 25 minutes at Northern Colorado, and his recent SCAC Defensive Player of the Week honor underscores his rim protection and glass-cleaning impact.[1][4] He has shown efficient scoring in earlier seasons as well, including 6.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in 2023-24, while his honor-roll recognition points to a dependable, team-first profile.[3][12] If you need a physical, defense-first forward who can finish plays and stabilize the paint, he looks like a solid fit.[3][4]
