Madison Guidry gives Lamar a crafty lefty with big-game poise
In the 2026 season, Madison Guidry was a rotation arm for Lamar who finished 2-6 with a 6.42 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 68.2 innings, while also flashing stretches of command and competitiveness as a left-handed pitcher[11]. She’s a true change-of-pace look with starter experience and has shown she can work deep into games, including a complete-game win in 2025 and a seven-inning effort in April 2025[4][6]. The upside is her toughness and pitchability; the caution flag is inconsistency, so she fits best for a team that values development, depth, and a gritty competitor over instant ace-level results[4][11].
