Former Wake Forest forward who brought size, skill, and steady frontcourt versatility
Jessie Cain was a 6-foot-2 Wake Forest forward from Cincinnati who entered college as a highly regarded recruit, ranked No. 58 nationally and ninth among power forwards by the All-Star Girls Report. In the 2009-10 season, she appeared in 18 games and showed useful frontcourt flexibility, having started as a forward and later transitioning to guard while still filling in at the post when needed. Her value was the blend: size, skill, and adaptability. If a team wants a smart, team-first forward who can cover multiple spots and won’t panic in a role shift, Cain fits the mold.
