McKenzie Owens brings timely contact and clutch juice for Alabama State
McKenzie Owens has been a steady, switch-on contributor for Alabama State in the 2026 season, appearing in 36 games and starting 15 as a junior outfielder[3]. She offers left-handed bat value, has delivered in key spots, and showed up in multiple game recaps with multi-hit or RBI production, including a 2-for-3, 2-run outing against Alcorn State and a pair of hits with two RBI in the SWAC tournament[8][11]. The fit here is clear: dependable depth, situational offense, and a player who seems to answer the bell when the Hornets need momentum[9][11].
