Workhorse NC State Kicker with Big-Range Upside
Deraney has been a rare three-way special-teams starter for NC State, handling punts, placekicking and kickoffs, and he’s shown a strong leg with a 54-yard career long and reliable extra-point accuracy. In his career, he’s converted 69.0% of field goals and 98.8% of extra points, with 199 points scored, which points to a useful, versatile specialist rather than just a one-job kicker. He’s the kind of player who can stabilize field position and handle high-volume special-teams duties, though his value depends on improving consistency from longer field goals.
