Austin Wainwright brings veteran safety depth to Georgia State
In the 2023 season, Austin Wainwright appeared in all 13 games for Georgia State and logged 2 tackles, showing up as a reliable depth piece rather than a headline-grabber[2][3]. At 6-foot-1 and 209 pounds, he has a safety frame that can hold up in the box, and his North Gwinnett background hints at a sturdy, disciplined defender who has played winning football before college[1][2]. If you need a steady, experienced rotational safety with special-teams value and no obvious red-flag injury history in the available reporting, he looks like a sensible fit[1][2].
