Brian Berg brings proven linebacker size and edge to SDSU
Brian Berg is listed at 6-foot-0, 240 pounds and fits the old-school linebacker mold: sturdy, physical, and built to handle contact in the box for San Diego State in the 2026 season.[3][7] Publicly available roster data does not show a clear 2026 stat line yet, so the real selling point is his frame and fit rather than empty numbers; if he’s on your radar, it’s because he projects as a tough, downhill defender who can help a defense that values violence, discipline, and durability.[3][7]
