Vinnie Nicosia brings veteran free safety instincts to Colgate’s back end
Vinnie Nicosia has been listed as Colgate’s free safety, and the available team roster information shows him as an experienced defensive back with a veteran presence in the secondary[1]. What makes him interesting is the kind of player his role implies: a last-line communicator who has to diagnose quickly, tackle cleanly, and keep the defense organized—traits that matter as much as raw stats in the safety spot[1]. The big caveat is that the accessible sources here do not provide current 2026 game stats or recent performance splits, so this is a role-and-roster read rather than a full stat-sheet scout[1].
