veteran Duke safety with deep Blue Devil roots
Brad Santanna is a former Duke defensive back/safety with a Blue Devils pedigree, having been listed as SS/LB on Duke football materials from the 1999-00 era and recognized on Duke’s academic honor roll in 2001. The biggest takeaway is profile, not stat line: he reads like a versatile, physical back-end defender whose value came from toughness, football IQ, and reliability in the room. If you’re evaluating fit, think “steady, disciplined, team-first” rather than flashy splash-play machine.
