Monmouth Hawks WR with Untapped Potential from Limited High School Days
Matt DeMarco, listed as a wide receiver for the Monmouth Hawks, brings a gritty, physical playing style honed as a running back and fullback in high school—rushing for 72 yards at 7.2 yards per carry with 1 TD in 2022-23 (MaxPreps)—and college, where he notched 6 tackles in 5 games as a fullback at Montclair State in 2019. His differentiator is versatile toughness and blocking intensity, ideal for teams needing multi-faceted WRs who excel in the run game; no recent stats suggest developmental upside, but watch for breakout if he adapts speed to route-running—solid depth fit for competitive programs.
