Isaiah Nimmers brings veteran ball skills and playmaking juice to UNI’s secondary
Isaiah Nimmers is a seasoned UNI defensive back whose best calling card is instinctive coverage play: in the 2018 season, he logged 42 total tackles, 29 solo stops, and 4 interceptions, including a pick-six, earning first-team All-MVFC honors. He entered the program as a cornerback and also showed he could handle safety responsibilities, which gives him useful versatility. For a team, that means a reliable, assignment-sound defender with proven ball production and enough experience to handle big-situation snaps.
