Kansas adds a speedy, special-teams-first safety in Christian Pritchett
Christian Pritchett is a redshirt junior safety at Kansas who brings experience, range, and real juice to the secondary after two seasons at Georgia Tech. In the 2025 season, he played in five games and made 4 tackles, and in the 2024 season he appeared in 11 games largely on special teams, logging 4 tackles while showing he can handle multiple coverage units. Kansas also clocked him at 22.64 mph in fall camp, a strong hint that his calling card is closing speed. He looks like a smart fit for a depth-and-sub-package role with upside if his athleticism translates into more defensive snaps.
