David DeVaughn brings veteran edge and disruptive hands to Morehead State’s front
David DeVaughn’s profile is that of a physical, high-motor defensive lineman who has shown the kind of block-shedding “violent hands” that coaches love, with Morehead State noting his ability to shed blocks quickly and improve as his lower body caught up to his hand use. In his 2017 Morehead State season, he played in all 11 games, started once, and logged 13 tackles with 3 tackles for loss and a quarterback hurry, while his earlier HS tape showed a proven pass-rush instinct with 5 sacks as a senior. The fit? A sturdy, effort-first DL who can help if your team wants toughness, active hands, and disruptive energy over flash.
