Taj Price brings Newark grit and frontcourt versatility to NJIT
Taj Price is best known as a hard-nosed forward with local roots, having helped Newark East Side win a state title before joining NJIT; his college bio also notes he earned ECAC Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition, which hints at a reliable, team-first profile. The biggest takeaway: he looks like a glue-guy frontcourt piece—tough, experienced, and versatile enough to fit a program that values effort, defense, and maturity. If you need a polished star, he’s not that; if you want a dependable, culture-setting fit, he’s the kind of player coaches usually love.
