FIU linebacker with rostered upside, but limited public production data
West is listed on FIU’s 2026 football roster as a linebacker, which makes him worth watching as a depth or development piece in the Panthers’ front seven, but the publicly available sources here do not provide season-by-season tackle, sack, or snap data to validate a clear statistical breakout. His value case is therefore more about projection than proof: a linebacker spot on a Division I roster typically demands physicality, range, and special-teams readiness, so if FIU keeps him active, he likely offers role-player reliability and developmental upside rather than headline-grabbing numbers.
