Wade Cooper is already a Bobcats bullpen-plus starter weapon
In the 2026 season, Texas State freshman right-hander Wade Cooper emerged as a true workhorse, posting a 7-3 record, a 4.72 ERA, 73 strikeouts, five saves and 66.2 innings while handling both starting and late-inning roles. His calling card is versatility: Texas State praised him as a "workhorse" and a future Friday-night type, and he backed that up with a complete-game, 12-strikeout gem against Arkansas State. If your team wants a durable, competitive arm with starter stuff and bullpen toughness, Cooper fits.
