Nathan Huy has emerged as a steady, high-leverage lefty for UC San Diego
In the 2026 season, Nathan Huy has been a reliable situational reliever for UC San Diego, posting a 2.08 ERA and 0.92 WHIP while holding hitters to a .164 average over 17.1 innings, with 15 strikeouts, six walks, and one save. He was recognized as an All-Big West Honorable Mention and a CSC Academic All-District selection, and his profile suggests a polished, strike-throwing left-hander whose mid-80s fastball plays up because he can mix three pitches for strikes. If your team wants a composed, matchup-friendly arm with academic upside and bullpen versatility, he’s worth a serious look.
